Robert Rutledge, 66

Police found 66-year-old Robert Rutledge dead in his Shepherd Hills apartment after a neighbor saw blood leading from the door. He suffered obvious injuries, perhaps from a knife. The apartment had been ransacked, according to court documents. After the homicide, the two suspects, Gary Toney Jr. 19, and Javonte Davis, 17, led police on a lengthy chase in the victim's stolen truck and injured two bystanders during a shootout with police.
