Shall property owned by the University of Georgia and utilized by providers of college and university student housing and other facilities continue to be exempt from taxation to keep costs affordable?
If the measure is approved, private interests who buy dorms or parking decks from the University System of Georgia would be able to keep the property tax exemptions. This measure was designed with the idea that privitizing housing facilities could help keep costs down for system.
